Looking for an Experienced Auto Tech for engine work on a 2018 Dodge Charger 5.7 Hemi. Job- Engine teardown for performance camshaft replacement. Requirement- Experience in late model Mopar 5.7, 6.4 engines. -Preferably you are currently working in a dealership through the week. Where- I am located near the Norton Rd and Georgesville Rd area. I have a 4-car garage with a majority of tools (both hand and air) It is climate controlled and even has a restroom in garage. What will this entail- Lead in engine teardown. I am an old school mechanic and will require a lead tech in getting this project completed. I will be available to assist in areas required. My experience back in the 70's and 80's were more conventional regarding cam replacement. All parts (Mopar) used in this project will be ordered/available prior to project start date. When- I would like to begin first week in Oct and have completed by end of Oct. You would be able to spread this project over from 2 to 6 hours at a time through the week and/or on weekends. Any machine shop work I will take care of through the week. Other notes: This is not a rush job. Camshaft removal and install will require patience and should not be hurried. -I only want to do this job once. Bid accordingly.
