(Within walking distance from Penn Station). GENERAL INFO: - All sessions need to be paid in advance, no exceptions. - The room is a professionally treated and soundproofed space with calculated amounts of acoustic absorption and diffusion to ensure the musicians can clearly hear themselves and the music. - Room is always kept in clean conditions and free of bad smells. - 150 sq ft space, can fit up to 5 musicians. - Atmospheric LED lights that will make you feel you’re practicing on a live stage! You can choose the color to setup mood. - Well-maintained, profesional level equipment, PA is a behringer Xenyx 8 Input mixer going to a Mackie 1000W speaker. - You are free to bring your bass or keyboard amp, but in case you can’t, you can plug your instruments into the mixer and you’ll have loud and clean sound coming through the PA. - If you need a keyboard, it can be provided upon request. You can choose between an 88 Key Weighted Keyboard or a Micro Korg synth. - There are 3 microphones available with cables and adjustable stands. - 1 music stand, chairs and instrument cables available. - 1 drum kit, includes : 1 kick drum, 1 snare, 1 high and low toms (EVANS) 1-14” Hihat, 1-16” Crash, 1-20” ride (ALL MEINL) with a drum shield. - You need to bring your own drumsticks, unfortunately sticks do break so we don’t lend them out. We can sell you a pair for $5.. - You’re free to extend your session if the studio isn’t already booked. - For Parking, we recommend you leave your car on a parking garage located only 1-2 blocks away. There is street parking but this is a busy area so getting a spot can be difficult. - There is a food vendor in the same floor where you can get Portuguese food, snacks and drinks. - If we miss your call, feel free to leave a message with your number and we will get back to you ASAP. Please be aware we can generally answer the phone during our business ours. - If you would rather not book online, you can book over the phone. Give us a call to . We would still need to get the same information to book though, as well as payment in advance. - Your CC transaction is entirely handled by Square, which is a highly secure industry standard processor. We do not store any of your info, just your name, email, and phone number for confirmation and contact purposes. - A session won’t be booked until payment is confirmed. Unfortunately, due to demand, we can’t hold a place for you until you decide to book. - If you need to reschedule, give us notice with more than 24 hours and we can change the date. Refunds aren’t available. - Minimum of 2 hours per session. - If you need to change the date for your session, you need to give at least 24 hour notice, otherwise your session won't be rescheduled. Once a payment has been done, there's no refunds. - A session starts and ends at the scheduled times, it's the artist responsibility to be at the studio on time. - No alcohol/smoking allowed. * Doesn't include assistance. If you need assistance from a sound engineer, please book the "2 hour studio session". * You are responsible for bringing your own instruments (except for drums) as well as amps and any other equipment not included on the list above.
