Female light ebony touch of velvet chinchilla for rehoming. Currently 4 months old. Starting to develop her veiling. Out of a Black Velvet male and Medium Ebony female, both from good, blocky lines. Typically will only have one large kit, no issues birthing despite large size of kits. Expected to be a good size as an adult. Nice, dense fur. Raised in colony, may not do well as single chinchilla without regular handling. Takes treats very well, inquisitive and friendly after picking up, but may try to dodge being picked up depending on her mood. Enjoys ear scratching, toys, and chews. Will use either contained dust bath or pan, prefers Sunseed brand dust. Please know what kind of care these animals need, a chinchilla is not like other rodents and needs different care than a rat or hamster. Rehoming fee applies.
