You're invited to our First Annual Fall Cookout Fundraiser! This year's event will be held at Anacostia Park Field 5 on September 24th from 12:00PM-6:00PM. We're starting our first water project in Ankobar, Ethiopia. Ankober, former capital of Ethiopia, is a town in central Ethiopia, 90 miles northeast of Addis Ababa. In our effort to improve lives of communities in Ankober, WIHA will fund an upcoming water supply, sanitation, and hygiene project in collaboration with Ankober Woreda Water and Energy Resources. The project plans to build pipelines and dig wells that would supply to three villages. Your participation and donation will bring us closer to our goal of $30,000. Many business and community leaders are on board as well as hundreds of individuals. Our community is clearly excited and eager to see this project succeed.
