Description

"The Autumn Messengers" was written for the Beau Soir Ensemble in the fall of 2021, and it is our honor to present this incredible new piece to the Mid Atlantic Region for the first time. It is the perfect piece to usher in the fall season. The concert will also feature the USA premiere of "The Chasing Tale" by Martyn Adams inspired by Brazilian Baiao music. We will conclude our program with music by Dubois and Telemann. This concert and commission has been made possible by a partial grant from the American Harp Society. Admission is free to all current members of the Washington DC Harp Society.
