THE HIGHLANDS – in Tallmadge, Ohio Currently the only licensed residential teen pregnancy shelter in the state of Ohio, providing critical services to homeless and at-risk pregnant or parenting teens, ages 14-21, and their babies. The Highlands has capacity for five mothers and five babies at a time, in which the pair is invited to stay for up to three years after the baby is born, or until the mother turns 21. She Builds Projects for Saturday, October 1, 2022. Volunteers will have the choice to work on the following in the back yard of The Highlands. This will provide a place for residents to meet and gather for programming. 1. Landscaping enclosed yard in back of house 2. Assembly and installation of backyard pergola 4.
