Ayurveda is an ancient system of holistic healing that originated in India over 5,000 years ago. Ayurveda translates as the science of life and is one of the sister sciences of yoga. In this class Cathy will discuss the fundamental principles of Ayurveda and how to determine your unique mind-body constitution. She will discuss simple dietary and lifestyle practices to help bring your body back into a state of balance using the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda.

Cathy Antoniewicz has worked in the kitchen at HWFC for over 10 years. She is a graduate of the Joyful Belly School of Ayurveda and offers workshops, cooking classes, and one on one consultations as a certified Ayurvedic health counselor. Her specialty lies in helping people recover from burnout and related digestive and nervous system imbalances.
