Daytime living history event: A once in a lifetime opportunity to hear 9 combat veterans from WWII to Iraq and Afghanistan and one survivor of communism coming to tell their stories. Speakers include a Pearl Harbor survivor, Sub Mariner who fought at the battle of Midway, a Holocaust survivor, a black soldier who landed in Normandy on D-Day, 2 Vietnam veterans with 3 purple hearts between them, and an Afghanistan veteran who lost both legs, and a communist survivor whose both grandfathers were murdered by the communists.
Living History event starts at 8 A.M.-3:45 P.M. with lunch included at the Best Western Hotel. Join us later in the evening for the Memorable Closing Dinner to honor all veterans, with entertainment and special guests. Cocktails start at 6 P.M. Dinner at 6:30-10:00 P.M. Package pricing tickets are available to attend both events.
