Join local author, Zulme Saldivia, in her reading of Avila y Los Lentes Mágicos and stay for a play date with other families raising bilingual little ones in a beautiful, safe, and nurturing space. Ideal for families with children under 5. This event is donation-based (pay-what-you-can) and is limited to 20 families, please get your ticket ahead of time. Mask optional. What to expect: Our space has a communal play area in the entryway where drinks and snacks are welcome. Our classroom, where the Storytime will take place, has child-friendly matts. Adults must wear socks in the room and snacks and drinks are not allowed. All levels of Spanish are welcome. We encourage parents/caregivers to speak Spanish with each other if they can, making it more likely that our children will too!
