ReaLife of Columbus 3600 30th Street Columbus, NE 68601 Maintenance Technician We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to support our Senior Cooperative Living Community. This maintenance position is responsible for monitoring preventative maintenance programs and repairing building systems and equipment and groundskeeping for the Cooperative Community in Columbus, NE. This Maintenance Technician position includes the following: -30 hours every two weeks -Part time day shifts, variable shift length -No weekends, on call for maintenance emergencies -Partial Benefit eligible: Responsibilities/Job Description *No boiler's license required* -Performs routine maintenance duties -Performs general repairs -Performs light HVAC work such as filer changes, drain cleaning, general observation for items of potential concern (mold growth, etc. need to pursue source issue and vendor to repair), general cleaning including clearing debris as instructed by Director of Maintenance HOA. -Assists with grounds work when necessary -On Call for maintenance emergencies Qualifications -One to three years of previous experience in a similar environment -Vocation/Technical training preferred -Ability to work independently as well as part of a team -Desire to work with older adults Please Apply When you come to work at Ebenezer, we promise to support your growth, honor your strengths and empower you to make a difference in the lives of others.
