The Master Plan
Dorothea Dix Park represents an extraordinary opportunity for our community. The chance to create a new public space utilizing 300 acres in the center of a city is remarkable—and simply unparalleled in the United States today. This high-level panel will walk us through the timeline of the project and the impact on the Raleigh community, and overall what the park will bring to our City of Oaks.
This panel will host: the Mayor of Raleigh, Mary-Ann Baldwin, Loren Gold, Executive Vice President of the Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau, and Orage Quarles, Chairman of the Dix Park Conservancy. The panel will be moderated by Rick French, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of French/West/Vaughan (FWV).
