Celebrate the arrival of the fall riding season by joining Trek Chapel Hill and Steel String Brewery for a bikes, beer, and brat extravaganza! Steel String Brewery's Pluck Farm will be hosting their annual Oktoberfest celebration featuring a live polka band and traditional German food and games. Join one of three pace groups (pilsner 12-15mph, hefeweizen 15-18, and schwarzbier 18-21), departing from Trek Chapel Hill at 12pm. All riders will also receive a ticket for a free seasonal beer, local kombucha, soda, or non-alcoholic beer courtesy of Trek Chapel Hill. After you've had a brat or two and have polkaed until you can polka no more, hop aboard the shuttle back to Trek Chapel Hill, where your bike will be waiting for you. Schedule: 12pm -- Roll out from Trek Chapel Hill (3 pace groups - pilsner, hefeweizen, and schwarzbier) for a 25 mile ride > ROUTEApprox. 1:30pm -- Riders arrive at Pluck Farm to eat, drink, and polka until they can polka no more3:30-6:30pm -- Rider and bike shuttle vans arrive to shuttle riders and their bikes back to Trek Chapel Hill (shuttles depart 3:30, 4:30, 5:30, 6:30)
