Here’s a quick overview of the Leaders’ Roundtable and why we now have three: Six times each year StrongLead and Catawba Valley Leadership Foundation host a Leaders' Roundtable. These events bring together leaders in our area for 90-minutes of topic-based learning, a quick-hit of encouragement, and the opportunity to connect with others. The success of these events in the past has led us to create a Leaders' Roundtable in Caldwell County and Catawba County, in addition to one in Burke County. The three separate meetings will be based on the same content but will allow us to invest in a larger number of leaders in our area. This also allows you to choose a date and location that works best for you! You are welcome to attend any roundtable event so long as there are available seats. October roundtable topic: The Making of a Strong & Virtuous Leader. Every family, business, school, and community organization will rise and fall based on its leadership. Those same entities shape the wellbeing of the community. We can all agree that strong leaders are critical for a community to thrive, but being a strong leader does NOT make you a virtuous leader. In this month’s Leaders' Roundtable, Bruce Schronce (CEO of StrongLead, LLC and founder of Catawba Valley Leadership Foundation) will explore what a virtuous leader is, why it matters, and how to become one. Space is limited to 20 people.
