You'll need to invest $20 for the Round Knitting Loom Kit and a couple skeins of yarn, but you'll be able to make handmade, last minute gifts forever. This craft is easy to learn, even for pre-teens, so this is a great skill to know for school teachers and church groups who would like to contribute to local charities or raise money for cause/supplies. I can knit a hat with a brim in about 3 hours or less now. You can find the loom kit and yarn in most craft stores or on Amazon. It makes hats of all sizes and many other things.
