Born from the fusing of nine Winnipeg, Canada based musicians, Apollo Suns have created a refreshing and innovative sound and live performance combining instrumental, jazz, rock and psychedelic music. They were awarded “Instrumental Artist of the Year” at the 2018 and 2020 Western Canadian Music Awards. The quintet you won’t forget - Transcendental Express aims to transcend negativity & bring people together through music. The mission is to create a space where everyone is welcome, everyone is happy, and everyone is dancing. Each member comes from different backgrounds & beliefs, and that’s why it works. A community is made up of people with a variety of ideas about what’s right and wrong. TE is a community. Through a fusion of ideas & styles, they engage with the audience and continuously work to maintain an open and welcoming space, on and off the dance floor.
