We are turning the Big 1!! Join us on Saturday, October 8th, anytime between 10am - 6pm + help us celebrate our First Birthday! Come experience all that Light + Bark has to offer, from shopping already poured candles + gifts to making your own candles in our candle bar. Be one of the first 10 customers to make a purchase over $40 will receive one of our L+B branded swag bags full of local goodies! In addition, for all purchases over $40, you will also receive a FREE 4oz Vanilla Cashmere Candle (retail $14). There will be in-store goodies, like mini cookies made by Scottsdale Cookie co., which are delicious! And other celebration items. We will also host a raffle to win an L+B branded swag bag completed with a Candle Care Set and a Trio of Candles. All proceeds from the raffle will go back to Angels for Paws Rescue. The rescue will be onsite with adoptable dogs all day, so if you know anyone looking to adopt a pup, stop by! About Light + Bark Candle Co. Jenni, founder of Light + Bark, is a creative type whose space has always been peppered with candles. She loves the ambiance that a flickering candle creates and the profound way that scent affects our mood + memory. While volunteering with rescue and shelter dogs and brainstorming non-traditional methods of fundraising as a way to better engage the community to give back, she was inspired to learn to make + sell candles. Her entrepreneurial calling was born. Jenni married her passion with her talents in candle making, branding + marketing and founded the original company DOG Candle Co in 2017, which has evolved to Light + Bark in 2020. In addition to making premium scented soy candles, Jenni is a rescue dog mom, advocate + volunteer who is always spreading good deeds for dogs.
