The 305 Firefighters Coalition in partnership with the Hialeah Firefighters Benevolent will be hosting a 5k Run, Walk, Ride Fire Engineer Eric "Slick" Johnson has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer, and we are determined to battle with him each step of the way. Join us and our brother in his fight against cancer on Sunday November 20th @ Amelia Earhart Park "Slick" has always been there for us so now it's our turn to support him like he's always supported us. -Music entertainment and snacks will be provided for participants and guests -All Participants will receive a SlickStrong rubber wristband! -Water stations and first aid stations available. For Donations:If you would like to Donate and not participate in the event.  -click on ticket tab and scroll down to donation box Pricing: $50 Early Registration *Before October 31,2022  *Early Registration is encouraged due to logistical planning. $60 At Event *Day of Event pricing starts November 1,2022 * All payments will be through Eventbrite. Times: 7:30am Registration will open 8:15am Opening Ceremony 8:30am 5k will Begin!! Liability Waiver: Upon acceptance of my entry, I, for myself, my heirs and assigns, hereby release 305 Firefighters Coalition, Hialeah Firefighters Benevolent Association, Miami Dade Parks and Recreations and any and all sponsors and officials of the Strong like Slick 5k Run/ Walk/Ride event from any and all liability arising from illness, injury, or death I may suffer as a result of participation in this event. I attest that I am physically fit and have sufficiently trained for this event and I am aware that my participation could, in some circumstances, result in physical injury. Should officials determine that completion of this event would be injurious to my health, I consent to be removed and treated by the medical personnel in attendance at their direction. I give permission for free use of my name and picture in any broadcast, telecast, or written account of these events. I also understand that the entry fee is NONREFUNDABLE FOR ANY REASON and the run/walk will take place rain or shine. Children under 10 years old MUST be accompanied by an adult at ALL times!
