LET THERE BE PIE! For the first time ever, HarvestFest is holding a pie competition! This contest is open to everyone and all types of pies. Apple, peach, pecan, coconut, peanut butter ... even savory pies like shepherd's pie are welcome! And there's more than just bragging rights at stake! The HarvestFest Pie Contest is an official entry competition to the Arkansas Pie Festival in Cherokee Village this coming April! The winner of our pie contest will get free entry to the statewide competition next year, along with a few prizes to show our appreciation for your pie-making talents! The rules: All registration will be done via EventBrite. You may register the day of the festival; the link will stay active until 2 p.m. that day. Bring your pie to the intersection of Kavanaugh and Beechwood between noon and 2 p.m. Fill out the info card at the registration booth. When it's your turn, present your pie to the judges. You can leave the leftovers with us or take them home, it's up to you! We will award one overall winner from the main stage in front of Kemuri at 2:30 p.m.! Special thanks to the Arkansas Pie Festival for partnering with us for this awesome event! Proceeds from the HarvestFest Pie Contest will go to benefit neighborhood charities and orgaizations.
