Local legend says that in the 1750s, French soldiers buried gold outside of modern-day Minerva to prevent the British army from taking it. Treasure hunters have scoured the area, but the gold has never been recovered. Did the French and British encounter creatures unknown who stole the gold for themselves? Did Sasquatch dig it up? Our ride will take us through the rural areas near Minerva where this mystery began! All proceeds benefit Minerva's historic Roxy Theatre.
