plumbing issue

Description

recently i have noticed water around the base of my toilet. I put some paper towwells down and there is not much and a plastic bowl to catch some drips that i saw. its not a consistent flow but lately seems a bit more. As a single senior woman on a fixed income i really don't want to pay for an expensive plumber. Any suggestions. Thanks Kelly
