So, I work in the K9 world and I am Fostering a male German Shepard. Currently looking for a forever home. He shows some signs of abuse but I don’t have much history. He doesn’t do well with male dogs and may take a while to warm up to some men. He’s great with cats and chickens. He’s also done pretty well with my 2 year old daughter. (More tolerant than my Shepard) he may do well with smaller dogs but better in a no dog home. He is very protective of me and that’s something he may need worked on in the future with his new owner. I know that dog would lay his life down for me and my child. Oh and he doesn’t mark or potty in the house. If he has to go he will wake you up!
