Description

I'm looking to re-home my 2 year old lab/gsd. He's neutered, his rabies is due next month, and his other vaccines are up to date. He's in great health. I've had him since he was 8 weeks old. He's a lab with a lot of energy, but, he's a good boy. He knows sit, stay, and is learning heel. He is crate trained, house trained, and does decent in the car, but does get sick at about hour 2 on mountain roads. Lol He needs some work on a leash, but, does learn very quickly. He loves squeeky toys, and usually doesn't destroy them too quickly. :) He would play fetch for hours! He has lived with an older small dog, however, he does love to play with her a lot. He has never hurt her, but, she picks on her quite a bit. He has also lived with 5 indoor cats. I would still recommend introducing them slowly as he is a GSD and will chase anything that runs from him. He has never been around kids under 5, but, has been around kids 5+, other than occasional jumping, he has never nipped at them. However, again, he's a GSD and will chase anything that runs. He isn't allowed on the furniture in our house, and usually doesn't try. As long as he's kept busy, getting good exercise, and has bones/chew toys he doesn't really chew on anything else. He really is a good boy with a little pent up energy. We are looking to re-home him due to a divorce and us moving. I'm not in a huge hurry to re-home him, so I'm looking for a good family, or even someone with some land for him to run on. When he's been camping (at cabins) he stays close to home. He loves to protect his family. He's very loyal. He's never been around livestock, chickens, or horses, so keep that in mind. No bad habits, but, no fear or expectations either. Rehoming fee is negotiable, because I'm more worried about finding him the right home. Please email me through Craigslist for more information.
