Doorways, an Arlington based non-profit, is seeking a full-time Maintenance Specialist to provide coordination of facilities maintenance and activities on our small facilities and leased properties. This position ensures the facilities are properly maintained and safe for clients and staff. The Maintenance Specialist completes routine maintenance work, small repairs, handyman tasks, and landscaping as well as coordinates/manages external vendors and contractors that perform larger repair and maintenance work assignments. This position requires a flexible schedule to be available for emergencies and personal transportation for facilities visits. Requirements include: • 3+ years in facilities related field • Understand mechanical, fire, electrical, plumbing, security and windows/doors systems and understand facility impacts on client(s) operations.
