Western Contracting Inc. is now hiring and accepting applications for wood carpenters, framers, and laborer positions that are immediately available. Western Contracting Inc is has been in business 20 plus years and is licenced in Oregon and Washington State and primarily specialize in rough carpentry work and General Contracting of commercial buildings. Typical projects and work scopes include wood framing of new retail buildings, church projects, Timber framing, buildings additions, fast food restaurants, dine in restaurant buildings, auto dealerships, winery buildings, multi story bldgs, seismic upgrades and much more. Structural steel work, finish carpentry, and concrete carpentry experience is helpful but not required. Wages are based on education, Carpentry skills, abilities, experience, dependability, etc.. Projects are usually in local cities and counties of Washington, Multnomah, Clackamas, Yamhill, Metro Portland and Vancouver area. Looking to hire entry level carpenters, journeyman carpenters and lead carpenters that are good listeners/learners, motivated, punctual, reliable, dependable, drug free, positive attitude, and good crew ethics. Company provides power/air tools, ladders, and necessary equipment to safeley complete any jobs. Wages range from $18.00 hr for apprentices and $20 to $30 and higher depending on experience, dependability, knowledge, plan reading skills, and leadership abilities. 1:Employee must provide their own complete professional tool bags and basic power tools 2:Transportation and valid drivers license required(Not all jobs are Tri met accessible) 3:Employee must have and use all personal protective equipment(boots, hardhat, safety glasses) 4:Bi-month pay periods with overtime available (depending on workload) 5:Wages are based on education, skills, dependability, reliability and experience. 6:Equipment training will be given if needed. 7:Great benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision benefits after 60 days. 8: Retirement program available E-mail reply or call Doug to apply. 503-320-1303 cell 503-538-2099 office
