Looking for superintendent to live onsite. Superintendent will diagnose problems and make repairs in areas such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, dry walling and appliances. Must have transportation, valid driver's license and TOOLS. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Repair all aspects of plumbing issues such as leaking faucets, clogged sinks and toilets, leaking pipes etc. • Make ready vacant apartments such as painting, spackling, replace cabinets, ceramic tile and replacing plumbing fixtures etc. • Maintain grounds and common areas including picking up trash, mopping floors, sweeping sidewalks/driveways, laundry room etc. • Shoveling snow from walks and driveways as well as spreading salt to prevent ice build up • Responsible for bringing tools to utilize on site for maintenance repairs • Maintenance request should be completed within 24 hr. period unless of an emergency situation • Keep boiler room/ maintenance room must be clean and organized • Show vacant apartments to prospective tenants • Keep building secure and free of people that don't belong there • Be the eyes and ears of the complex and communicate back with office *NJ resident a +, familiar with the local areas of Passaic, Bergen and Essex Counties (NJ)
