what the f*** just happened

I was going to bed around midnight and a girl on hinge asked me if I was interested in meeting her at the Sandy Hut. I thought "why not do something spontaneous, subvert your own expectations" (i have not actually gone on a date in months) so I hopped on my bike and busted it to get there. She asked me to buy her a drink, so i did, and i had one too. At one point a guy came in and made some very direct eye contact with me. Didn't think twice about it. Everything seemed pretty normal and flirty/fun. After a little while, I suggested that maybe we meet another time when it wasn't so late and she reassured me she was having a great time, and I was as well so I went to get another drink. She wanted some expensive cider so I got one too, and when I got back to the booth she was just MACKIN on the guy who made eye contact with me earlier. I was so gobsmacked I didn't know what to do it was like I was ten again and I walked in on my parents bangin at 3 am because I had a nightmare and they didn't realize I walked into the room just fully stunlocked. I walked back to the bar, both drinks in hand, and asked the bartender if I could actually close out and if he wanted the cider I just bought. He asked me what happened, so I just kinda gestured to them behind me (still goin at it) and he went "ah- oh... yea I thought I shoulda warned you. stay away from her." So i just chugged the 8$ ciders. She was sitting alone again but i just kinda waved her off on my way out. While I was unlocking my bike the guy kept running back and forth in and out of the bar by me, I was so confused! Was I supposed to even say anything? Was this some kind of fet*sh thing? What just happened? Anyways if a girl reaches out to you on hinge to buy her a cider at midnight and you think it might be a spontaneous fun thing you might be getting dragged into some couple's weird thing. Final note: the bartender suggesting that this was something to be warned about.... is this like a recurring event??????????
