Onin Staffing is currently recruiting for Punch Press Operators for a growing manufacturing company located in the Harlingen, TX area. Job Description of Punch Press Operator: The Punch Press Operator configures and operates electrically powered presses to cut, shape, and form metal, plastic, or other materials used in manufacturing operations. Duties and Responsibilities of Punch Press Operator: - Performs operations such as blanking, bending, punching, and forming based on blueprints and other instructions. - Responsible for configuring equipment and calibrating gauge settings, recognizing condition of dies, loading materials onto the equipment, feeding material through die, and positioning and removing parts from the die. - Keeps a record of operational data and performs routine equipment maintenance. - Monitors work schedule to ascertain production information, such as size, type, and quantity to be processed. - Other duties as assigned Work Experience Qualification & Requirements of Punch Press Operator: - HS Diploma / GED preferred - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic hand tools. - Pride in work.
