The newly formed Republican (GOP) Committee for the City of Essex Junction holds a meeting on the first Tuesday of every month. The next meeting is When: Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 6:30 PM Location: 80 Pearl Street, Essex Junction, VT - two doors down from the Post Office in the Big Lots/NEFCU shopping building. The agenda includes filling several vacant positions in this city committee, as well as a vacant position for a representative to the Chittenden County GOP Committee. We will also talk about ways to increase our membership and help our candidates for Local and State offices get elected. We are also seeking help at the polls this fall in order to provide Republican representation to meet State statutes...Let's keep our elections as fair and free from fraud as we can! The meeting is open to the public, but membership on the committee is limited by law to City of Essex Junction residents. If you are curious about how to get involved and make a positive difference in the Essex Junction community, please come on out to observe. No obligations. Many people don't realize it, but there are many things going on that affect our local and state government, and the responsibility rests with the people of the community to see it gets done: someone else won't take care of this stuff for you!
