We are looking for enthusiastic people who take pride in their work. The work we do is physically demanding, and takes place in all weather conditions, heat, cold, rain and dry. Preferred applicants will have some mechanical or horticultural knowledge, or be creative folks who just enjoy working outside. Mowing Crew Leader, Designscape LLC Hours: Crew typically work from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM or later, Monday through Friday. 50+ Hours expected in the Spring & Fall. Part time and seasonal positions available. The Mowing Crew Leader will need to be an independent self starter, with an ability to motivate others. Attention to detail, working quickly, and maintaining equipment are vital skills. Ability to manage others, and to maintain excellence throughout the crew will be a critical part of the job. An ability for tracking mow log, scheduling, routing, and customer communication will also be preferred, in addition to an ability to keep mowing rig organized, and operational. Mechanical ability is beneficial. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who's ready to lead a division of a rapidly growing company. Requirements: Valid drivers license with preference given to those who have experience hauling trailers, Ability to bend and stoop on a repetitive basis and lift up to 75 lbs., Commitment to environmentally safe garden management techniques and practices, must be organized, efficient working with little supervision, and be dedicated to a systematic and documented work system to ensure total client satisfaction, must be capable of performing under pressure as well as demonstrate flexibility in adapting to the ever-changing demands of the position and the seasonality of the industry. Job Duties-Perform labor tasks which include but are not limited to: Mowing grass raking leaves watering shrubs and lawn trimming and edging around walks, flower beds, driveways and sidewalks, cleaning grounds preparing flower beds and planting flowers planting and pruning shrubs driving a truck and trailer when needed establishing and maintaining effective relationships with contracted clients keeping vehicle and equipment clean and functional report any equipment needing repairs Plan, schedule, and requisition all necessary equipment and supplies, track visits and time spent per contracted property ensuring contract terms are met but budget restrictions are followed oversee all work in progress to ensure quality, timeliness, and safety, prioritize workload accordingly, comply with company policies and procedures, as well as timely completion of all necessary paperwork.
