Status: Non-Exempt, Temporary, Hourly Compensation: $25/hr Who We Are: Established in 2018, Panco Foods Inc. is a locally owned company that makes Pan’s Mushroom Jerky in Portland, Oregon. We are a small, rapidly growing food manufacturer focused on developing delicious, high quality mushroom based products. What You’ll Do: Pan's will be exhibiting at the upcoming Natural Products Expo West at the Philadelphia Convention Center. We need a representative to show work in our booth, managing samples of Pan’s products for attendees to try in a safe and sanitary manner. (We just put small pieces of jerky into serving cups on a tray). Also, you'll be required to participate in light conversation with event attendees about the product, flavors, etc). We'll have at least two other Pan's employees in the booth who can cover for bathroom / sitting breaks, and you'll be able to get free samples of food products to take home! We basically need someone to make sure there is jerky for attendees to taste while other booth members have most of the conversation with attendees. No booth setup or breakdown required. Hours: Thursday September 29th: 10am - 6pm Friday September 30th: 10am - 6pm Saturday October 1st: 10am - 4pm Overarching Responsibilities: Positively represent the Pan’s brand at the event Learn brand, company, and production information (flavors, best selling products, etc.) Manage lightweight conversations with event attendees Distribute samples of product in a sanitary and safe manner Maintain a presentable booth setup Skills and Qualifications: Some experience working in events and representing a brand Ability to safely manage food samples and sample area of booth Willing to chat with event attendees Job Type: Temporary Salary: $25.00 per hour Work Location: One location
