Assembler + Shipping Associate + Material Handler Since 1936, our client manufactures controlled-volume metering pumps and equipment that deliver unsurpassed reliability and accuracy in critical chemical dosing applications. They are currently looking to bring on team players to fill an exciting role. The client is looking for amazing workers. This is a first shift opportunity from 7 AM to 3:30PM. This individual will use standard procedures to perform varied tasks of intermediate complexity. Benefits and Perks This is a temp-hire position. Pay is $17.00+ per hour Potential overtime. Perform sub and final assemblies with minimal supervision Work on either a production line or with small parts by inspecting and sorting Perform to written job instructions, engineering drawings, and/or work orders Utilize matrices for problem analysis Work to achieve general knowledge of operation/function of assemblies as required to troubleshoot units Learn operational or departmental equipment, tooling, or gauging as required Identify process changes and methods improvements Maintain current instrumentation calibration Performs quality checks in accordance with established quality procedures and ISO requirements Ensures production pace is maintained to meet customer demand Will be cross trained to work at all assembly steps of line Maintain cleanliness (5S) of work area daily REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent 0 – 2 years’ experience in assembly or other fast paced operations preferred Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions Ability to use various power (Pneumatic) hand tools (i.e. power screwdriver, socket, etc.) Ability to understand blueprints Ability to operate a computer Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
