Job Title: Machine Operator Trainee Location: Algodones, NM Multiple Shifts Available 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday through Friday $17.50 Pay to start Description/Responsibilities: (will be trained) • Machine assisted assembly of wire mesh nets used in a variety of safety applications such as: Avalanche Barriers, Debris Flow Barriers, Rockfall Barriers, and Slope Stabilization. • Machine operators are responsible to adhere to all factory standards • Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected and notify operators of any malfunctions. • Must be able to use touch screen controls; basic problem solving; mechanical aptitude • Must be a team player and excellent communicator • Constant standing and walking is required. Must be able to lift up to 40lbs occasionally • If hired permanent, will be responsible for successfully completing company provided forklift training (Tecco, Rocco, and Helox only). • Other duties may be required on a regular basis as requested by the Shift Supervisor or Production Supervisor and in consideration of employee’s abilities. Pre-employment Requirements: Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug Screening. Pre-employment background checks will be conducted prior to assignment. Dress Code/PPE Requirements: Blue Jeans and Tee Shirt/Polo (no sleeveless shirts or profanity allowed). Workers will supply their own Safety shoes. Safety Glasses, Gloves, and earplugs are provided
