Free mattress box spring

Is there anyone out there who would be able to transport and dispose of a queen box spring? I can pay someone a reasonable amount. I have been trying to give away this item for months now. I have had it advertised for free here, Craiglist and FB groups. I have had several people who have said they wanted it, set times for pick up and then not show up. I have researched companies who pick up old furnishings but they are cost prohibitive. Charity & donation stores do not accept used bedding. I looked up dismantling a box spring which is what I started to do today. As it turns out, I do not have the necessary tools in which to do so. I could rent a truck but I'd rather pay someone to pick this thing up and dispose of it if that's possible. I am new to this apartment and to the area. If someone knows of a reasonable business that will pick up and dispose of it, that would also be helpful. Thank you. Sherry
