For over 25 years, Fresh & Ready Foods has been manufacturing and distributing high-quality sandwiches, salads, wraps, entrees, box lunches, and much more. In addition to what we make, we are concerned with how we make it. We have a comprehensive, detailed food safety program that gives us an extra level of confidence in the foods we manufacture. We are currently seeking for full-time Sanitation to work flexible schedules to include weekends. Essential Job Functions and Requirements: · Ensure full compliance with all government food safety regulations, and maintain highest possible industry food standards, as directed by your supervisor · Ensure adherence to all GMP (Good Manufacturing Process) and company policies · Adheres to all sanitation best practices applied by company, state, and federal law · Interact with management and co-workers in a professional and positive manner to assure rapid and effective response to sanitation responsibilities · Sweep, pick up rubbish, and dispose promptly · Clean manufacturing equipment to company guidelines · Inform supervisor and management of supply shortages or equipment issues promptly · Perform work quickly, efficiently, effectively, and safely · Knowledge and experience in the food industry (preferred) · Communicate any safety issues in a rapid manner · Knowledge of HACCP, organic, gluten free, and allergen requirements · Basic knowledge of chemical safety and food industry sanitation procedures · FDA and USDA experience (desired) Requirements · Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment, this includes coolers and freezers 0-400 Fahrenheit with proper gear uniform (provided) · Able to work in cold, hot, semi-wet environments during the day with or without reasonable accommodations · Must work flexible schedule and extended hours as needed, including nights and weekends · Fluctuate to work alone or in teams as needed · Work in a fast, accurate and neat environment · Must have impeccable personal hygiene · Must be able to lift weights up to 25-50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations Work Environment (must be able to work cold temperatures ranging from 30-50 degrees) SIGN ON BONUS UP TO $750 We offer great benefits medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD, and life.
