We are currently seeking for full-time Maintenance Technician to work flexible schedules to include weekends. Essential Functions: Perform daily mechanical tasks associated with maintenance operations for Fresh & Ready Foods. Work cooperatively with other team members, supervisors, managers, and directors to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Fresh & Ready Foods policies, procedures, and sanitation standards. Follow policies and procedures to meet federal and state requirements. Work effectively with all department to ensure that daily, weekly and monthly delivery goals are met. Responsibilities Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions. Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments. Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts. Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, and other measuring instruments. Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges. Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance. Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment. Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt. Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests. Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks. Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Keep accurate records of all pre-approved expenses. Maintain a clean a neat personal appearance. Uphold a professional demeanor at all times with customers, co-workers, and the public. Maintain the strictest confidentiality at all times on matters pertaining to the company and its customers, vendors, distributors, and staff. Promote by example the principles of Fresh & Ready Foods. Consistently demonstrate professional verbal and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Maintain composure when handling unexpected challenges and competing demands; and other duties as assigned by Senior Vice President. Requirements: Perform additional functions that may be assigned at the discretion of management and executive team Have completed: Vocational or skill trade, and high school diploma. Must have 2 years experience. Required Drivers license. Most be able to lift weight of 49lbs. for short amount of time, using tool of the trade. Tool belts, are provided, if needed. Required PPE eye protection, steel toe shoes.
