General Contractor looking to hire a Rough Carpenter for basic framing interior and exterior tasks on home and large apartment remodels. Basic descriptions for the required position are as follows: lowering pony walls, modifying walls, wood replacement, boxing out can lights, building and repairing the wooden frames (the walls, floors and roofs) of structures and widening door openings. Simple modifications. framing experience IS required. Must have transportation, be reliable, and have good communication skills. Please include resume with pay requirements. Qualifications: • Reliable transportation, Driver License and Vehicle Insurance (required) • 3 years of experience in construction or remodeling required (must have own tools) • Ability to handle physical workload (required) • Must provide 3-professional references (previous or current bosses, managers, supervisors – (no friends or family!) • Must meet requirement of legal right to work in the U.S.A. (required) • Must be able to pass a drug test including marijuana (required) • Pay and benefits: • $23.00 and up per hour depending on experience, knowledge and references • Health and Dental Insurance available after 60 days with shared cost • 401K – 3% matching • Aflac • 5 PTO/Sick days per year • Direct deposit available • Opportunity for growth and development • Ongoing safety training Monday–Friday 40 hours per week.
