COME JOIN OUR TEAM! ASW - Aegean Stoneworks, Inc. is seeking an experienced Finisher/Polisher specializing in quartz, natural stone, and porcelain material. Duties: Will be responsible to grind, sand, clean, and finish polishing by using hand tools and power equipment for a smooth and lustrous finish. Select and adjust equipment controls according to the type of stone finish. Will be using portable grinding and polishing tool. Selects the appropriate abrasive wheel according to type of stone, finish specified, or step in finishing process. Responsible for washing the grit from stone slab, inspect uneven stone surfaces and continue the polishing process until stone is perfectly smooth. Machines, tools, and work area must be cleaned at the end of each work shift. Requirements: • Ability to operate tools and equipment safely by following safety practices • Possess a keen eye to observe and inspect finished products. • Ability to complete duties with precise accuracy and possess detail mechanical skills • Critical thinking and be a troubleshooter and have equipment maintenance experience a plus • Must be able to be in good physical condition and able to lift up to 50 pounds • Be able to stand for long periods of time and be able to bend and stoop with no limitations Benefits: • Paid weekly with direct deposit offered • Health Insurance benefits • Employer-provided Life Insurance • Paid Holidays • 401k offered • Company Events!
