Kennel Worker Wanted Part Time mornings and sometimes on the weekends & Evenings. I have a part-time position open for a Pet Care / Kennel Worker. It is fun work if you love animals. You must live in the Spring Valley area. (Or within 10 miles of Spring Valley) You must have your own transportation. You must be able to lift 40 pounds and carry it. It is a lot of cleaning of the pet areas inside and outside. The person will be expected to keep the pets clean and happy. The pets need to be washed and brushed and I am willing to train the right person. It includes normal kennel work such as scrubbing crates, floors and cat litter pans. The person must love dogs and Cats. We also have wildlife around so the person cannot be afraid of animals. I prefer someone with experience with animals or veterinary tech. I am looking for the right person that my pets will like. If they don't like you then you won't get the job. They are rescued pets. We take in pets and help find them new homes for them, so the number of pets can change. You would work 3 mornings during the week 2 hours per day. I am flexible on the time in the morning. Occasionally you will be needed to bring dogs in for the night. The days you are needed in the morning and evening you would work 2 hours in the morning and 1 hour in the evening. You will also need to work a few weekends. (Weekends and evenings do not happen often, about once a month.) Must have a passion for helping care for pets (Dogs & Cats) 3.) Must have the ability to interact with animals in a calm and non-threatening way 4.) Must have the ability to organize and prioritize your time. 5.) Must be able to lift & carry 40lbs. 6.) Interested in learning new things. 7.) Must have reliable transportation to and from work. (No public transportation in this area)
