We are looking for a guitar player that doesn't mind being in a band with 40, 50, 60 year old members. This is not your average rock band. We are doing higher level rock songs with more substance, more sophistication, more musical depth, and is more demanding of the musicians than the average rock songs. The old outdated idea that Rock 'n' Roll has to be Raw, Unsophistacated, Un-Trained, and Simplictic went out the door after the 1950s and very early 60's with the help of albums like; Revolver, Sgt. Peppers, and Magical Mystery Tour. No Mustang Sally, Play That Funky Music, Takin' Care Of Business. We are doing songs like these; We are the Champions - Queen Reelin in the Years - Seely Dan, Josie - Steely Dan Lucy In Sky - Beatles Strawberry Fields - Beatles Blue Collar Man (Long Nights) - Styx Renegade - Styx Good Vibrations - Beach Boys More Than A Feelin' - Boston Africa - Toto Rosanna - Toto Don't Look Back - Boston Frankenstein - Edgar Winter Jessica - Allman Bros. And we are including all the correct notes of instrumental parts, ( including all Double and Triple Lead parts in all the music listed above. Vocal harmony parts will all be there as well. Single instrumental solos will be mosly improvisational. If you love the idea of developing songs in your band that have a little more going than just the usual triad chords and an occasional solo in the pentatonic minor mode, you might be interested in this project.
