Two Shooters Open Fire At Little River Park In Miami: Police

MIAMI, FL — Eight people were injured when two gunmen fired into a crowded basketball court at Little River Park in northern Miami-Dade County Sunday night. Two unidentified males walked toward the basketball court, firing "indiscriminately" and then fled on foot just after 7 p.m., Miami-Dade police said in a news release. Among those injured were two minors – a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old boy, police said. The other shooting victims were men ranging in age, from 18 to 27. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue brought seven of the victims to nearby hospitals. The eighth victim was airlifted to Jackson Ryder Trauma Center. Two victims were in stable condition late Sunday night and the other six were brought to hospitals in critical condition. Police are investigating the incident and looking for the shooters.
