Description

This course will provide you with a deeper understanding of scanning knowledge, workflows, and benefits in your day-to-day workflows. During this course, we’ll identify and explore what it takes to capture data, to process data, and what the best workflows are to capture the most accurate data. We will then use this information learned to show how companies in the state of Wisconsin have utilized 3D scanning to grow their business, enhance their workflows, and save money. Learning Objectives: Explore scanning specifications and how scanners work. Identify how the data is used in the industry and why companies leverage this tool to enhance their design. Recognize how scanners work with basic workflows such as scanning, registration, georeferencing, refinement, and export. Examine how you can maximize your ability to use the data efficiently in your current software’s (Autodesk products, Sketchup, Point Cloud software’s)Presented by: Derek Polkowski - BuildingPoint Midwest (Derek will offer time after class to provide hands-on sessions with whomever would like to understand the process deeper.)
