Join us to hear Dr. Patrick Aguilar, Chief Medical Officer for Tulsa-based Quiktrip (QT) talk about advancing primary care. Patrick oversees the clinical operations at both the QT QuikMed, a primary care practice dedicated to QuikTrip's employees and families, and also MedWise, LLC, a community-facing urgent care company launched in 2020. His role is to support teams that lead clinical strategy, regulatory compliance, clinical quality, provider recruitment/development, and revenue cycle operations. Both practices extend QT's excellence in customer service to promote health. Dr. Aguilar is a transplant pulmonologist and has served as both Director of ECMO at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas and Director of Medical Critical Care at Barnes Jewish Hospital/Washington University in St. Louis. While at Washington University, Patrick also led the development of both an Innovation Curriculum at the School of Medicine and a combined MD/MBA degree program. Patrick earned his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch and his Master of Business Administration at Washington University. He currently serves as a faculty member in the Department of Internal Medicine at Dell Medical School and at the University of Texas at Austin. QuikTrip is hosting our October meeting.
