This Symposium brings students, attorneys and leading legal scholars from all over the country to discuss the timely and important topic of the future of our rights and equality after the Dobbs v. Jackson decision overruled Roe v. Wade and the right to terminate a pregnancy. The event will include a distinguished Keynote Address and four-panel set covering the constitutional interpretation of the Fourteenth Amendment, critical perspectives on equality and autonomy, and the effects of Dobbs v. Jackson. In addition to this important discussion, we will also highlight the relationship between the protection of rights, art, and activism with our first art exhibit, as well as a panel discussing the role that art plays in the law.
