V Dubs & More is seeking a Part Time And Or Seasonal Automotive Technician ASAP V Dubs & More is a local family owned and operated shop that handles all your automotive needs including specializing in European models. V Dubs & More has been in business in the Helena area for over 18 years. Seeking an automotive technician ASAP to join our team with OBD1 Chevrolet Experience. Position is Part Time Days. Shop Hours are Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm and Part Time schedule will be set at time of hire. Pay is competitive with experience. Let’s talk today! Stop by the shop and ask for Dave! Automotive Technician duties include but are not limited to • Maintains vehicles’ functional condition by listening to operator complaints and conducting inspections. • Repairs mechanical and electrical system malfunctions and replaces parts and components. • Compiles vehicle records by recording service and repairs. • Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, and preventive maintenance. • NO European vehicle experience necessary – will train if necessary Automotive Technician skills and qualifications seeking Successful candidate will have various skills and qualifications, including but not limited to: OBD1 Chevrolet Experience Preferred - • Experience using hand and power tools to replace and repair parts. • Minimum of 1 years of automotive experience • Understanding and knowledge of the automotive industry and or lube and tire technician experience • Knowledge of technical and mechanical procedures • Strong reading skills and understanding of service manuals • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. • Great attention to detail • Fast learner with ability to learn European vehicles • Strong communication skills • Ability to work in a shop environment • NO European vehicle experience necessary – will train if necessary Pay is dependent on experience $15 - $30 per hour. Automotive Technician should have their own set of basic hand tools. The shop supplies the specialty tools.
