Join Highwire Improv at Mindpub Cafe in Locust Point for two of Baltimore's best improvised comedy shows. Dreamweaver and Teen Angst will create characters, narratives, and a whole lot of laughs right in front of your eyes! Plus enjoy included food and soft drinks from the amazing Mindpub (it's covered in your ticket price!) Doors open at 7pm for food and drink and the show starts at 8pm. About the Acts: Local Spot kicks us off and digs deep with a monoscene - the bottle episode of improv, and they're among the best at it! Ready, Set, No! is here to tell you the dangers of... well everything, with their school assembly satire, you're sure to learn a lot, laugh, and wonder how you ever made it through middle school. Cake Walk is a world champion improv troupe from Baltimore, Maryland. Their format is situational improv based on television comedies which feature a predominantly white cast. They reimagine the show as an all Black cast and create a new world based on a suggestion. About the Venue: Mindpub Café is Riverside’s newest neighborhood hangout. Our first-floor bar and lounge area–which we refer to as our living room–is cozy and comfy.
