An Anacortes processing company is currently seeking hard-working individuals to fill a few Refrigeration Mechanic Positions. Job duties: - Repair and maintain refrigeration units and mechanical equipment - Observe and test system operation using gauges and instruments - Adjust valves according to specifications and charge the system with the proper type of refrigerant by pumping the specified gas or fluid into the system - Tests lines, components, and connections for leaks - Dismantle malfunctioning systems and test components, using electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic testing equipment - Adjusts or replace worn defective mechanisms and parts and reassemble repaired systems - Brazes or solder parts to repair defective joints and leaks - Performs mechanical overhauls The ideal candidate has: - Good communication skills - The ability to follow directions and stay on task - Good problem-solving skills - Minimum of 2 years of experience using general refrigeration competencies including, but not limited to ammonia systems repair - AA or equivalent from two-year college or technical school OR six months to one year of work-related experience and or training Pay: $15.00/hr Physical requirements: Stand, walk, use hands, able to climb, and balance. Occasional sitting, stooping, kneeling, and lifting or moving up to 50lbs. APPLY TODAY!
