Description
New Blues Rock Power Trio seeking a classic rock influenced singer/front man. We're Guitar/Vocal, Bass, and Drums/Percussion along with Ableton LIVE software on Rhythm Guitar, FX, Cue Track, Click Track, Stage Lights, Teleprompter, Drum and Keyboard Samples, Looper, and all FX automation/sync. We all play to the click and cue tracks via IEM's, and you'll have your own IEM mix that you can setup yourself via your own cell phone or tablet (OSX/iOS, Windows, Chrome/Android). Note that we are are long-time professional musicians/producer/engineers, in our 60's, and this project is for semi-local gigging fun. IMPORTANT: Being experienced and comfortable singing with a click track is of course important! NOTE: You’ll have a Teleprompter with all lyrics, though you’ll need to sing in the keys the backing tracks are already done in, which is high baritone/second tenor with the highest note needed being a G. If you can’t hit a G you could modify the melody etc, and if you have higher notes you can use them on fills/ad-libs etc as desired. The important thing is that the song keys are set in stone due to the backing track production. The tunes are all early British Blues Rock tunes (mostly late 60's and early to mid-70's), with modernized original arrangements. There are a number of meter and tempo changes within some of the material, so some of it is somewhat challenging (tempos/time signatures/medleys etc). The tunes are from Jeff Beck, Beck-Bogert-Appice, Cream, Blind Faith, Led Zepplin, Free, Foreigner, Bad Company, The Firm, early Fleetwood Mac, Deep Purple, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Humble Pie, Savoy Brown, and Robin Trower, 35 plus tunes of originally arranged for big guitar power trio Brit Blues Rock. We have a pro studio in Redwood City right off HW-101. We're already starting to gig as a modernized/reimagined British Blues Rock Tribute Power Trio, but our singing guitar player is too busy to front, so we’d love a high quality Lead Vocal/Front Man. Check out our basic starter web site here… http://mightythundertones.band Finally, please reply to this ad if it sounds interesting and you have the chops, the range, enjoy singing in a well-produced power trio plus one format (we sound much bigger than a typical trio), are experienced in fronting the same, and of course have the time. Thx...
