Description

Come join herbalist and animist Madeleine Sophia for an evening of magic, learning, and celebrating the Autumn Equinox. We will explore herbs that are supportive for our mental health as well as somatic resourcing tools to ground into the new season. Mental health + herbs is such a big topic. This workshop is an introductory class into the nervous system and how plants can support our bodies in finding regulation and nourishment. This class is NOT meant to diagnose or treat anyone going through a major mental health crisis, but moreso, to learn tools that can support us in finding balance. The first hour is learning about tonic herbs, nervines, herbs for anxiety/depression, and adaptogens. Then, we will together make an herbal syrup that you can take home with you. After the workshop, the doors are open to anyone wanting to come celebrate the equinox. There will be food, tea, herbal snacks, and music. The intention is to come together as community and network, commune, play and honor the harvest of this past years growth. The workshop is $60-40 sliding scale. If you can afford the higher price, this allow those who can't to attend. If $40 is still out of your price range, message me for work trade position. The post workshop celebration is free for anyone to attend. Herbal wine/ treats: $5 Donation recommended for musician.
