Live Ensemble classes are now available at Musically Minded Academy @ St. Peter's Church in Oakland! Choose between classical, jazz, and a NEW vocal ensemble. Ages 5-18. Opportunity Funds are available to supplement tuition.  New Notes (SAT 9-11): Students may join this classically based ensemble on any instrument. Students will work on music technique, theory, ear training, performance, and more. Repertoire includes classical music from around the world. Basics, Blues, and Beyond (SAT 11-1): Join on any instrument to learn the basics of jazz and blues. Students learn scales, improvisation, and pieces. Students build social and musical connections through the study and enjoyment of this art form.  *NEW!* Very Vocal (THU 5-7): A vocal ensemble that includes some percussion, movement, and performance. Students learn vocal techniques and sing songs from around the world. Instructors: Anna Orias, Ben Green, Jeff Worrall, Ondine Young, Rich Armstrong, plus TA's from OSA and UC Berkeley. _______
