The competition is designed to support the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation by offering anyone the chance to judge the chili for a $10 donation. Vote for your favorite chili starting at 2 pm. Winners are announced at 6:30 pm. Everyone must have a ticket to enter the competition which includes Best Little Brewfest and Music Festival. There are 2 stages for music, food trucks, souvenir tasting cup and 12 samples. Sampling starts at 3 pm. Chili Cooks get 2 general admission tickets per entry. All firefighters, police and EMS get a 25% discounted general admission ticket for $30. Go to www.BLBFIT.com for other ticket options. Chili Cooks must make at least 2 lbs. of chili, bring their own table, tent and chairs. Load in at 10 am in the East Parking lot of City Hall in Old Town Lewisville. The winner of the chili cookoff gets a traveling trophy to take home for the year.
